Because part of the XADO process is the cleaning of friction surfaces, switching to Atomic oil with no preparation will immediately introduce contaminants to the fresh oil. We recommend using Vita Flush in this case. Add it to your old oil and run the engine at least 15 minutes. This will dump the contaminants into the old oil prior to its disposal and pull much of the worn metal from to old oil and add it back to the working surfaces.
In these cases, we recommend using XADO Repairing Grease to top off the assembly so that the resulting blend will have sufficient revitalizant to be effective. For best results, the assembly should be at operating temperature when adding the new grease. This will facilitate the blending process.
A complete XADO treatment is good for at least 60,000 miles. For many people this is about 20 oil changes.
In a new car, XADO helps in two main ways. First, it protects against wear and second it effectively spin balances the engine under working conditions. There is no other practical means for doing this.
The prior use of additives will not hamper the XADO process.
XADO will work in the presence of any type of oil.
We use the cylinder treatment as a fall-back strategy. It is always recommended to treat the complete engine first. In rare cases we have to use the direct cylinder application to obtain the desired results.
In a new assembly a one step treatment is advised, and often the first treatment in an older assembly shows dramatic results. Three applications in used equipment are recommended for best results because, briefly, the first step cleans, the second step works to compensate existing wear, and the third step helps to optimize tolerances.
As the XADO crystals are formed, the chemistry attracts molecules of wear metal present in the lubricant; these molecules are added back to the surface. By changing oil prior to using XADO, you are wasting this resource.
Even though the process takes some time (roughly 1,000 miles) to complete, it is quite common to notice improvements long before that. Immediate reductions in noise and vibration are quite common. Engine response improves quickly.
Every machine is different and thus responds differently to treatment. Do not be alarmed if you see your oil pressure fluctuate after adding XADO to an engine. It’s a sure sign that XADO is working.

Yes, Atomic oils contain XADO's patented Revitalizant. Four quarts of Atomic oil contains the equivalent of one tube of XADO.

NO! Xado has no effect on rubber seals of gasckets. Xado restores the geometry of worn out steel/alloy parts because it only works on steel rubbing surfaces/friction zones.
There are a number of custom applications for XADO Revitalizant Gels, Greases, Oils and Special Fluids. To learn how XADO can work with your specific application, please contact our Technical Support.
Based on the word "revitalization" (rooted in the Latin word "vita" meaning life), XADO Revitalizant will return the life to mechanical performance. You can read more about Revitalization here.

We use the Gel for Power Steering pumps in automatic transmissions. This gel is used in any hydraulic assembly and the heart of your automatic transmission is a hydraulic pump. For most cars and light trucks the appropriate dose is 2 tubes in 1 step. Due to the length of most filler tubes, it is usually advisable to dissolve the gel in an ounce or so of ATF prior to application.
XADO only works in the presence of metal to metal contact. Since clutch plates are made of fibrous material, there is no issue with these applications.
Each particular gel is designed specifically to work in the mechanical environment listed on the label. In general, the particle size varies with the tolerances to be expected in a given system. It is not recommended to use the various gels interchangeably.
XADO Revitalizant Gels are completely non-toxic.
XADO works with a magnisium silicate nano particle. Friction coefficient as low as 0.003-0.007 without lubrication; high electrical resistance (prevents electrochemical corrosion); high destruction temperature (roughly 1600 C); prevents hydrogen embrittlement; coefficient of thermal expansion 13.6-14.2; surface micro hardness 690-710 HV; extremely high shock resistance and pressure loading. You can read more details about XADO cermet coating here.
XADO can add microns in a pump element, several thousandths in an engine, and has been measured to grow as much as 63 thousandths in a gearbox. When the fit and finish of mating parts becomes optimized, there is no longer sufficient friction to trigger further crystal growth. The process is self-limiting.
XADO provides a number of benefits. The repair aspect often returns dozens of times your investment in just minutes. From a fuel saving perspective, most people save enough to pay for the product in just a few thousand miles. From an environmental perspective, the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions surpasses that of technologies costing much more. Increased reliability also offers significant, although overlooked savings. Any one of these factors is worth the price of XADO. Combined, the value is unsurpassed.
No. XADO is a preparation of naturally occurring minerals. There are no “conventional” friction reducers added and no toxic by products

“Snake oil” has become a general term for additives. XADO is not an oil additive. XADO works on metal, not on oil. As the cermet layer forms, the fit and finish of parts is improved, thus placing less demand on whatever lubricant is present in the system.

Our customers, who use their motor vehicles for business (and who can claim fully or partially spare parts and car service as expenses for tax purpose) most likely may claim any purchase of XADO products from our online store at xado.com.au as business-related expense - but it is always best and we do recommend you to consult your accountant or tax agent.
We provide tax invoice for every purchase our customers make. All prices are also GST inclusive.
Yes, our business is registered in Australia for GST. Tax invoice included with every order shows GST amount, applicable to your order.
